Engaging Discussion and Hands-On AI

The Age-Friendly AI project team welcomed 20 participants at the successful Coffee Morning on Friday, November 21st, held as part of the BETA Festival.

The event turned out to be a fantastic morning of exchange and discovery within the welcoming environment of the Ethics Studio at BETA Festival, bringing together people who are curious about how Artificial Intelligence (AI) and technology impact daily life. We heard about people’s thoughts and experiences with AI, highlighting both benefits and concerns.

A highlight of the event was the AI Radio – an old radio with the option to listen to AI-generated music, showing an indicator if AI is being used or not. It provided the opportunity for direct engagement with AI technology and gained hands-on experience.
