The CSSIAI project aims to bridge a critical gap in AI development by integrating Citizen Science methodologies throughout the AI research lifecycle. This innovative approach enables public participation in shaping how artificial intelligence is developed and deployed, ensuring that societal impacts are considered from the outset.
Dr Clarke’s presentation highlighted how Age-Friendly AI aligns with these principles, demonstrating the importance of inclusive, participatory approaches to developing AI educational resources with and for the communities that will engage with them.
