The Age-Friendly AI team won the Best Long Paper Award at the prestigious edu4AI 2025 Workshop – The 2nd Workshop on Education for Artificial Intelligence: Educational and Methodological Solutions Fostering AI Awareness.
The workshop was held in Bologna, Italy, on 26th October 2025 where Elizabeth Darnell presented the paper.
The paper details the work and impact of the Age-Friendly AI initiative which is making Artificial Intelligence (AI) accessible and relevant for older adults across Ireland.
The programme committee for the edu4AI workshop praised the paper for its clarity, the careful methods used in the programme’s development (methodological rigour), and its strong potential to significantly impact AI awareness in educational settings. Out of all the long-paper submissions, ours received the highest overall evaluation!
