Age-Friendly AI programme team member Damon Berry recently travelled to Navan, Co. Meath, to present the project to a meeting of Local Authority Broadband Officers from across the country.

Broadband Connection Points (BCPs) play a crucial role in delivering digital infrastructure, promoting connectivity, and driving digital inclusion across Ireland’s local communities. The first element of digital inclusion is access to digital resources, and Broadband Ireland is responsible for removing barriers related to access for rural users. Age-Friendly AI and Broadband Ireland therefore have common interests in this area.
