Clare: Join the Age-Friendly AI Training Workshop in Ennis

Monday, 30th of March 2026
Event Overview

The Age-Friendly AI team is delighted to host an interactive AI training workshop at Ennis library with Fórsa members.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming how we live, work, and communicate. It can already be found in many services and products in our daily lives. This training programme was co-developed for and with older adults, building on a successful series of discussion workshops held throughout 2025. In the workshop, you will learn more about AI technology, where it can be found in daily life and what to look out for when using it.

Registrations for this event are restricted to Fórsa retired and potential retired members.

What to Expect

The session will open with a welcome speech from Carmel Devine (Fórsa), followed by an interactive presentation from Paula Kelly (TU Dublin, ADAPT Centre) and Dr Emma Clarke (DCU, ADAPT Centre) who will introduce Artificial Intelligence in an engaging and practical way.

After the workshop, you are invited to get hands-on experience with AI technologies. Our team will showcase several AI demonstrations, including:

  • “Spirit of Radio”: A retro-looking radio including AI technology.
  • “Art or AI?”: An exhibition where you can guess if the paintings are AI-generated or created by an artist.

Tickets: Registrations for this event are restricted to Fórsa retired and potential retired members.
