Artificial Intelligence (AI) is increasingly becoming part of our everyday life, from how we access information to how to stay connected. Visit our Age-friendly AI stand to chat with the team, ask questions, and take part in our AI Opinion campaign and have hands-on experience with our AI technology. 

Whether you want to know the basics of AI or you are curious about how AI impacts areas in our lives, e.g. healthcare or banking, you can join us for our training workshop. Co-developed with and for older adults, this session explores AI technology in a practical and engaging way. 

No prior knowledge is required for this event

This event is open to the public. No pre-existing knowledge is required to join the workshop – everyone is welcome!

What is AI?

Artificial Intelligence, or AI, is when technology is designed to do tasks that usually need human thinking, like finding patterns in huge amounts of information – it is used on your phone, for example in predictive texting or in online shopping for making suggestions.

What to expect from this event:

• Interactive AI demonstrations and “Art or AI” exhibits.
• A friendly space to share your concerns and hopes for future technology.
