The Age-Friendly AI team is looking forward to participating in the ACM International Conference on Interactive Media Experiences (IMX) hosted by Technological University of the Shannon.  The event will take place on the 9th-11th of June 2026 at the Sheraton Hotel Athlone.

IMX provides a platform for discussion and collaboration across fields, including human–computer interaction, multimedia engineering, design, media studies, psychology, and sociology, a good fit for some of our project outputs! Age-Friendly AI Contribution

Project team members will present work exploring how AI literacy and co-creation approaches can support more inclusive and accessible engagement with emerging technologies for older adults.

Our contribution will highlight the importance of involving older people directly as co-creators in the design and development process and will share insights from conversations and activities carried out across Ireland through the Age-Friendly AI initiative.
