Pint of Science – AI and Older Adults

Tuesday, May 20th

Curious about how Artificial Intelligence (AI) can both help and challenge us as we age?

AI presents opportunities and challenges for older adults, but many feel marginalised by the pace of technological change. The Age-Friendly AI initiative aims to equip older adults with the knowledge to engage with AI technology confidently.

Pint of Science is an annual, informal science festival where researchers head to local pubs and social spaces to chat about their latest discoveries. At this Dublin event, Dr. Dympna O’Sullivan will present Age-Friendly AI: Ireland’s National Artificial Intelligence Literacy Initiative and how it specifically aims to involve older adults in the ongoing conversation about AI.

This is a fantastic opportunity to hear more about cutting-edge research and understand how this initiative plans to ensure older voices are heard in the age of AI, all in a relaxed pub atmosphere!

What are your thoughts and questions about AI and its role in our society? Come share them!
