Visit our Age-Friendly AI team at our dedicated stand at the 50 Plus Show to have a chat and ask questions you may have. On the second day of the 50 Plus Show, July 2nd, the Age-Friendly AI team will hold a training workshop.
Whether you want to know the basics of AI or you are curious about how AI impacts areas in our lives, e.g. healthcare or banking, you can join us for our training workshop. Co-developed with and for older adults, this session explores AI technology in a practical and engaging way.

What is AI?
Artificial Intelligence, or AI, is when technology is designed to do tasks that usually need human thinking, like finding patterns in huge amounts of information – it is used on your phone, for example in predictive texting or in online shopping for making suggestions.
What to expect from this event:
- A training session on ‘Introduction to Artificial Intelligence (AI)’
- Interactive AI demonstrations and “Art or AI” exhibits.
- A friendly space to share your concerns and hopes for future technology.
