Waterford: Age-Friendly AI Workshop at the Waterford City and County Libraries Central Library

4th of June 2026

The Age-Friendly AI team will hold an interactive AI training workshop in Waterford on the 4th of June.

Have you wondered what Artificial Intelligence (AI) is about? Based on conversations held across Ireland in 2025, Age-Friendly AI has co-developed a training workshop with and for older adults. The training reflects hopes and concerns of older adults and helps understand what AI is, where it can be found and what to look out for when using it.

During the session, you will:

  • Learn the basics of Artificial Intelligence
  • Explore where AI appears in everyday life
  • Discuss the benefits and potential risks of using AI
  • Take part in conversations in a friendly environment

After the workshop, there will also be an opportunity to engage with AI technologies firsthand through interactive demonstrations.
